Rice poured in will vanish and in place will be found an orange or similar size ball.  The mechanics of the vase allow this startling transformation.  Without the lid you may begin with this covered over with a handkerchief or small silk.  Vase stands 9 1/8" high with the mouth diameter 5".  Condition very good.
