With a Bell like style this has a special built in mechanism that with a thread pull will drop one at a time English pennies (not included) with a capacity for 5 in all.  The flange edge diameter measures 2 3/4" and has small holes drilled at various intervals perhaps for attaching to a clear vessel.  This was found in a collection of European magic.  Condition fine.
