A multi-colored, glass bead bracelet is placed on the table.  The performer shares a bit of its history with the assembled group.  Its previous owner, a woman named Abigail Hawthorne, nurtured an abiding interest in the paranormal and the spiritual significance of numbers.

Performer reveals that Agne's eccentricity included a deathbed request to be buried with one of her earrings, the other to remain with the living.  Strange indeed!  Perhaps it was an attempt to forge a link between the world of living and the world of the dead.  A test is suggested to see if the two colors of her earrings can be determined.  Spectator randomly selects a number after the bracelet is formed into the letter "A", representing the first letter in Abigail's name.  Using the spectator's randomly selected number and the bracelet, the performer reveals that Abigail must have guided the spectator's choice of numbers.  The selected number reveals not only the color of the buried earring but also the remaining earring.  The performer dumps the earring out of the bag.  It matches bead color chosen by the spectator, a clear indication that Abigail influence can still be felt.
