Made of mahogany wood and measures 7" wide x 4 5/8" deep x 4 3/4" high with base. For the appearance and vanish of silks in an impossible manner as you are able to show the cabinet right after. This is an unusual unit as it has two flaps but there is a tiny hole receiver for a pin which when in place holds fastened a flap. This is the situation on one flap at a time. The tray only has one hole which you place finger through when holding unit to push in place a flap after producing a silk or vanishing one. Usually with two flaps you will have two finger holes. These are gravity fed flaps and not locking. One flap has slight warp but since interior is painted black not all that noticeable when this flap is held in place by pin.
