The magician Shows a "small black bag" which has, as he claims, "magic powers". Asking for two volunteer helpers, he shows how some magicians sneak the egg our from the bag in the act of causing the disappearance, but that he - the magician- will do the effect under the very noses of the spectators. 

He places the egg very slowly into the bag and asks that one of his helpers feel thru the outside of the bag to prove that he has done so. Next the egg becomes invisible for it is nowhere to be found. The bag is turned inside out and the two helpers are asked to look inside. However, under these seemingly impossible conditions, and with the performer's wrists held, the egg again makes its appearance. The spectator removes the egg from the bag himself. 

The above effect is repeated and finally one of the helpers is allowed to hold the bag himself. The egg is caused to vanish while the bag is still in the spectator's hands. The spectator now looks inside the bag, making sure that the egg isn't inside it. Finally the magician allows the spectator to reach inside the bag and remove the egg which has now appeared as though by real magic!
