Very few of these were ever made and this made of brass. Simple in appearance yet it has a diabolical mechanism built in which allows for the following effect: the vase is shown and four half dollar size coins (not supplied) are placed within. The vase is covered with a silk (not supplied) and given to a spectator to hold. Reaching over and giving the spectator's hand a shake the coins are heard to rattle within. The magician pulls away the silk and the spectator is shocked to see the coins have completely vanished! This vase stands 3 3/16" high with a diameter of 1 3/4". This is one that is very hard to come by.

Condition:  Insert Cup is included and in the base as it is pictured.  Upon receipt of this piece it was found that the bottom plate would not twist off to have access to the mechanism to set for performance. As a result of this it is being auctioned in as is condition and perhaps someone could open the plate to restore working. Since not being able to go further with this to check it out it is to be understood it is in non-working condition. The last one we had in beautiful condition sold for $4,200!
