A borrowed cigarette is placed into the tube and the top is screwed carefully and tightly on.  The magician now pierces the cigarette with a number of pins that go through the holes in the Brass Tube, in one side and the out the other.  No less than five pins are thrust through the cigarette! The pins are removed and instantly the top of the tube is unscrewed and the cigarette is tipped out and found to be quite unharmed!

For collectors of Brass Magic this is quite nice with the way it is engineered.  You may also tell the audience that this is a scaled down version of the Sword Box Illusion that you prefer to carry and you save money by not having to troop around with an assistant...
