This presents Stewart James concerning his unusual life and delves into one of the most innovative minds in the history of magic.

Index Stewart James In Print & The James File Compiled by William Goodwin, 2000 1st edition, cloth bound, foil stamping, 122 pages. This separate volume constitutes the index for both Stewart James In Print and The James File. The index is arranged in three sections: Trick Index - List effects that are explained in the three volumes as well as those Stewart James creations that are mentioned or discussed without an accompanying method. Name Index - Mentions names of individuals inside and outside of magic. General Index - Contains references not listed in either the name or trick indices. This index runs into some 15,000 entries and provides a remarkable journey through the concepts, the mind and the life of Stewart James. Stewart James was meticulous in cataloging the work of other magic inventors.

Condition Volume 1 there is a pronounced valley in the spine of this book as it sat for a very long time on its fore edge otherwise very fine.  Volume 2 very fine.  Index very fine.  All three have very light foxing top page edges.
